At the heart of it all.

You might find The Gullies down a quiet road, but the farm is perfectly situated for our way of life in the middle of the Horizons Region- a rural hinterland.

We’re one of many beautiful and productive sheep and beef farms just ten minutes from Marton. The area is also a significant arable hub with New Zealand’s largest malting factory, owned by Malteurop located here. We’re also less than half an hour to Feilding, home of the one of the largest sale yards in the Southern Hemisphere. Up the road is Palmerston North- home of the annual Rural Games, Agrifood Week, AgResearch Grasslands and of course Massey University with its bounty of collaborative centres with industry players under the agricultural sector, including the Hopkirk Institute.

And all that’s before we let you in on all our adventure and family fun hot spots around the region! If you choose to stay at The Gullies, you’ll have skiing and snowboarding, jet boating and kayaking, surfing, fishing, golfing, horse-trekking, mountain-biking, and one of New Zealand’s Great Walks all between 30-100 minutes away. Epic.
